Gondola Trip

 A fantastic view from towards the Kaikoura coastline.

 Up we go to the top.

We had a stunning view of the city on the way up. We were very lucky with the weather on our day to visit the gondola.

Cultural Festival 2014

After hard work and support our tamariki shone at the 2014 Cultural Festival at the Horncastle Arena last night. Huge thank you to Mrs Fisher, Mrs Thoms, Penny and Beatrice Ah-Loe.
We were second to last on and this made it a very late night for all the children. They were very nervous and excited however delivered a beautiful performance.

We spent some time at Casebrook Intermediate and here are some of our Talligami's we created.

Dinoland

For many years I've been searching for ferocious dinosaurs.Iv'e found a lot of dinosaurs in my path but never ferocious.Once I found a panther and I had a feeling like I had to put a buzzer(a leash you put around something and you press a button and the thing you put it around comes to you)around it so I did and I carried on my journey.

I go to a place called Dinoland where dinos are fake which is what I heard.As soon as I step in someone grabs me and takes me to a dino Ferris wheel it was fun.Next someone takes me on a joyride roller coaster which led me to a cave.

A Tyrannosaurus rex was there and he was about to eat me! I quickly remember the buzzer button and press it and the panther comes.they have a big fight and like all story's the good side won(the panther).I happily go tell the prime minister that the Dinoland has real dinosaurs and he bans the Dinoland. I get all the dinos and examine them and stuff.The End

My aunties 21st birthday

On Saturday the 25th of august was my aunties 21st birthday celebration at my great grandmas church.when we got to the church we went and sat down at the kids table where all of the other kids were.when the rest of my family and my aunties friends came we started praying and singing.after that my auntie started to blow her big cake.when she finished blowing her cake we all sang happy birthday.when we finished singing my auntie starts to cry because we were all there for her birthday celebration.after that my auntie starts to say her speech.when my auntie finished doing her speech we all had to go and line up to get our food.my auntie's mum ordered people from a Samoan restaurant to serve the food for us.my auntie went to the table where her friends and family were so she can talk to them about how she was feeling and how she appreciates them being there.me and my other cousins were bored because we had to wait for ages so the elder people can get their food first.finally we got up and went to the stand to get our food.when we finished eating we went to play handball outside with the other kids.when i got outside I saw a bunch of kids lining up for handball.when I got inside my auntie told me to call the kids to come and have dessert.me and my. Cousin went and lined up in the line to get some dessert.when me and my cousin got dessert we went outside and ate there.me and my cousin decided that we should go and sit on the stairs to eat.when me and my cousin finished eating we went in the hall to watch what is going to happen next.when I got to the hall I sat down with my auntie and my other auntie's baby.when the music came on my auntie started dancing and so everyone danced.after that my uncles were giving money to the other people to say thank you.my auntie's birthday present from her brother and sister in-law and her brother's kids was to go to France with them.my auntie's brother , sister in law and her nephews and niece lives in France.they come almost everyday.after the dance was bingo.and after bingo we all went home.we all wished my auntie happy 21st birthday!!! It was fun!!!
